THE MCINTYRE-MORRIS DUO

James McIntyre and Ross Morris began their collaboration while studying for their undergraduate degrees together at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and have carried forward their shared passion for the intimate and communicative performances they are able to achieve together.

The McIntyre-Morris Duo enjoy performing a variety of music for tenor and guitar, including folk song inspired repertoire, lute songs of the renaissance, and German Lieder arrangements. They are especially passionate about increasing the voice and guitar repertoire through discovering lesser performed works and creating their own arrangements.
 
The pair are praised for having “daring colour” and “crisp rhythmic detail” and enjoy being able to bring their music to a wider audience with Live Music Now.
